To go from 5.5 m to the distance on the ground, we multiply by 2000.
5.5 m × 2000 = 11,000 m
However, the correct answer for A is not 11,000 because A is in km.
So, to find A, we must now divide by 1,000 to convert our answer from m to km.
11,000/1,000 = 11
For A, select 11.
B
Just so we get practice paying attention to detail, unlike the values involved in calculating A, the values involved in calculating B are all in m.
So, to find B, we simply divide 10,000 m by 2,000 to arrive at a value of 5 m.
