Sum may even or odd
If set S contains only 1 prime number - 2 , then the sum will be even .
Or if the set contains only 2 and some other prime number (all primes except 2 are odd ) , sum will be odd .
If the set contains even number of prime numbers (other than prime number 2 ) , sum will be even .
Not sufficient.
(2) n = 2
Even+Even = Even
Even+Odd = Odd
Odd+Odd = Even
Not sufficient.
Combining 1 and 2 , we get
if Set S contains 2 and 3 , sum = 5 - Odd
if set S contains 3 and 5 , sum = 8 - Even
Not sufficient.
