The set S contains n integers. Is the sum of all the elements of set S odd?

(1) All the elements of S are prime numbers.
(2) n = 2

1. if there are 3 prime numbers then we can have: 2+3+5=even, or we can have 3+5+7 -> odd. since we don't know how many integers we have and whether 2 is included, we cannot answer the question.

2. 1+2 = even, 2+4 = 6 -odd, so B is out.

1+2
we can have 2+3 = 5 - odd or we can have 3+5=8 - even

C is out, and E is the answer

The set S contains n integers. Is the sum of all the elements of set S odd?

(1) All the elements of S are prime numbers.
(2) n = 2

(1) Prime Nos are 2,3,5,7,11,13....etc ( Can be divided by self and 1 only)

We dont know how many elements are there. INSUFFICIENT

(2) If n=2 , Alone is INSUFFICIENT

(1) + (2) then Sum can be odd only if Prime No 2 is added with any of the other Prime No. INSUFFICIENT

Answer is E. none of them are sufficient
