Perimeter of the triangle = (t-4)+(t-6)+(2t-20) = 4t-30
Since it is an isosceles triangle, any two sides must be equal.
Say, t-4 = 2t-20 => t=16
And when, t-6 = 2t-20 => t=14

Now let's look at both statements. None provides a definite value for t.
Therefore answer must be E.
