The student gave four practice exams for the GMAT and achieved an average score of 650.

(A) The student gave four practice exams for the GMAT and achieved an average score of 650.--> Correct

(B) The student took four practice exams for the GMAT and achieved an average score of 650.--> I think the Verb "gave" is more preferable than took" as took means you just bought it and there are chances that you have not given the exam...

Wait for the official explanation.

(C) The student finished four practice exams to their end for the GMAT and achieved an average score of 650.--> their is wrong

(D) Four practice exams were taken by the student for the GMAT and achieved an average score of 650.--> "Student achieved ...... not Four practice exam"

(E) Four practice exams were completed by the student for the GMAT and achieved an average score of 650.--> Same as "D"
