Let the number be x, x+1, x+2
Sum = x + x +1 + x + 2 = 3 (x+1)
Divisible by 3.

Rule:- n consecutive integers------> 1 number must be divisible by n

So 3 consecutive +ve integers must be divisible by 3. B

The sum of three consecutive positive integers must be divisible by which of the following?

(A) 2

(C) 4

(E) 6

Sum = x+x+1+x+2
So, 3x+3, gives us: 3(x+1) which is divisible by 3
Answer: B
