The critic considers Outstanding the vintages that received a grade of 96 or higher; Excellent, the vintages that received a grade between 91 and 95, inclusive; Very Good, the vintages that received a grade between 86 and 90, inclusive; Good, the vintages that received a grade between 81 and 85, inclusive; Average, the vintages that received a grade between 71 and 80, inclusive; and Below Average, the vintages that received a grade of 70 or lower. “N/A” refers to vintages that have not been rated.

Statement 1
A vintage is considered Average if it receives a grade between 71 and 80, inclusive. Sort the table by the 2006 column and then by the 2007 column. No 2006 vintage received such a grade; however, the 2007 Côte de Beaune did. Since the same number of wines were rated in 2006 and 2007, the statement is correct.
Answer: Yes
Statement 2
This statement is also correct. The 2010 vintages from 15 regions were rated, and two received an Outstanding rating (96 or higher). Two 2009 vintages and two 2006 vintages also received an Outstanding rating, but that was from a larger number of regions rated (20 of them in 2009 and 23 in 2006). Thus, the probability of an Outstanding rating was greater for a 2010 vintage than for any other vintage.
Answer: Yes
