Hey, if I send someone the word document, can someone make a proper PDF? It bugs me that its a scanned version. PM me.

Why don't you use PDF creator?
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

install this, open your doc , print, chose PDFCreator as your printer.
There you are!

My computer broke and I can't afford a new one right now, so I'm stuck using a work laptop that I don't have installation privs on, otherwise, great suggestion :)

Never expected this to happen. I definitely am no where near as active as I was a few years ago but still figured Rhyme would outlast all of us. Kryzak and Rhyme are two of the greatest contributors that this site has ever had and it seems Kry has died the slow death and Rhyme is killing off his gmatclub persona.

Best of luck Rhyme, you left a lot of great material that will long out live your departure.

Hey Rhyme, U wrote it as if u r writing ur last will... Funny enough... But hearty thanks for ur wonderful solns provided all over the community.... Best of luck for ur upcoming future

rhyme
All,

Sadly, the time has come for me to say goodbye. The last few years on this site have been great, and I’ve invested an awful lot of time into this community: I genuinely hope that my silly attitude and prior posts and have helped all of you deal with the stresses of applications. Please understand that it is with mixed emotions that I make this decision. That said, there comes a time in everyone’s life when other things begin to take priority (like my daughter), and for me that time is now. Some of the reasons are personal, some purely practical (a lack of time), but this has been on my mind for some time. I’ll always remain reachable by PM, but won’t otherwise be an active participant going forward.

About a year ago, I realized that I just couldn’t keep up anymore. I started thinking about how I might eventually depart but I worried it would be a ‘slow death’: fewer and fewer posts until one day I just all but vanished. That was the legacy of many many before me: Lepium’s last post is from 2009, aaudetat from Feb, lhcmjen stopped visiting in 2008 as did nervousgmat (search his posts for some funny images), the guy with lhotse as his avatar (what was his name!, lhotse something?) is long gone, etc. That seemed like such a sad ending to something that I had poured so much of my heart and soul into. I never had any financial interest in gmatclub, I just did this for personal satisfaction. In an odd way, walking away from money might have been easier than walking away from something I was personally proud of. So as I sat down to try and write a proper goodbye about a year ago, the more I realized just how difficult it was to capture just how heartfelt I wanted my goodbye to be. I decided then that I didn't want to just say bye by simply posting -- I wanted to go out in my classic style: an incoherent mess of thoughts.

(Removed PDF for now while I work on cleaning it up)

Warmest regards,
Rhyme

P.S. You can always reach me via PM.
