2a+3c = 14
c= a/2

2a + 3(a/2)= 14
4a + 3a = 28
a= 4
Answer Option D is Correct

2x+3y=14
y=x/2
x=2y

4y+3y=14
y=2
x=4

Charge for each adult = x

charge for each child = x/2.

Total = 2x + 3*x/2 = 2x + 3x/2 = 7x/2.

7x/2 = 14

x = 4.

D is the answer.
