P+c=36
option 1 :
P:C=5:7
so we can see 5k+7k=36=>k=3 (so sufficient to find printers =15)

Option 2:
p+(p+6)=36
2p+6=36
p=15 (sufficient)

Hence option D each is sufficient

The total number of printers and computers at a certain company is 36. How many printers does the company have?

(1) The ratio of the number of the company's printers to the number of its computers is 5 to 7.

(2) The company has 6 more computers than printers.
