The volume of a large cube is twice the volume of a small cube. If the length of an edge of the small cube is 2, what is the length of an edge of the large cube?

A. 4

B. 8

C. \(2\sqrt[3]{2}\)

D. \(4\sqrt[3]{2}\)

E. \(8\sqrt[3]{2}\)

Volume of small cube 2^3= 8
Vol of large cube : 8*2= 16 as its twice of small cube volume ' given'
side of large cube (16)^1/3
which would be 2^ 4
or 2*(2)^1/3 option C

8*16 = 128 after this how did u get this ---> \(16^{\frac{1}{3}}\)

if say volume is 8, then side would be 2, right ?

dave13 : YES as volume of cube is a^3 ; so here if volume is 8 so side would be ( 8)^1/3 which is 2 ..
