1800 applications reviewed 4 or 5 times, i.e. total number of reviews are between 1800*4 = 7200 and 1800*5 = 9000. I thought testing values worked best for this since each reviewer reviews anywhere between 40 and 60 applications.
(i) 132*40 = 5280 (too less), 132*60 = 7920 is within the range and since its a could be question, option (i) is valid. Remove B and C
Now to save time, I tested (iii) first and if that holds then E, otherwise I'll test (ii).
(iii) 222*40 = 8880 which holds, hence its valid. Answer E since (i) and (ii) only isn't an option. However, we can still check.
(ii) 220*40 = 8800 which is valid again, hence all 3 are valid and option E is correct.

so roughly no. of officials required could be between 7200 to 9000 if each one reviews one application each.
however its given that each official reviews between 40 to 60 applications
hence range of officials required is 7200/60 to 9000/40
i.e. 120 to 225
since all the given values lie in this range
