Is the usage of not just ...... but also acceptable on gmat?
I was down to c and e but rejected e for the same as mentioned above.
other than this i noticed that in C, words (plural) term has been used with X or Y where both X & Y are singular. ALso I am not sure about those who________ is correct
I would say that what we use routinely in language could be acceptable in GMAT so we shouldn't reject an option based on that even if it isn't formal usage. The point is what else is available in the options. We would prefer business, formal usage when grammatically both work.
Yes, (C) has multiple errors. We are using plural 'words' with 'or.'
The use of 'those' is incorrect. To modify 'class of people' we would use a relative clause 'who have achieved ...'
