No. The problem is the last step.

The passage says  therapy is one strategy that helps produce equilibrium , and comfort is  another strategy  for equilibrium. It never says that every strategy of equilibrium is therapy.

So:
exile -> comfort -> strategy of equilibrium
is supported.

But:
strategy of equilibrium -> therapy
is not supported.

That is why (A) does not follow.
