Breaking Down the Info:
\(1000 \text{ L} = 1 \text{ } m^3\). We also have \(1 \text{ } km^3 = 1000^3 \text{ } m^3 = 10^9 \text{ } m^3 = 10^{12} \text{ L}\)
The given rate is \(\frac{10^{-5} \text{ mg gold} }{ 1 \text{ L}}\). Multiplying that by \(10^{12} \text{ L}\) gives \(10^7 \text{ mg gold}\).
\(10^7 \text{ mg} = 10^4 \text{ g} = 10 \text{ kg}\)

Hi Jerry, I think the unit conversion that you've used is erroneous, can you please check?
If I remember correctly, 1m³ = 1000L and consequently 1km³ = 10¹²L
Hence, I think the answer to this question should be 10 kilograms and not 0.01 kilograms
