just wanted to encourage those of you who may not have done or may not do the best on the gmat; there is hope and don't let a low gmat score discourage you. i scored a 600 high quant and low verbal with a 6 awa, so this is NOTHING special at all. my advice to all of you is to apply to schools above what you think you are qualified for. i'm a current senior at a VERY small private school in california, with a double major of finance and accounting and a gpa of 3.7; granted i have very good work experience (fortune 500 company in real estate) and a small property management company. after you guys are done with the gmat, seriously put your heart and soul into your application essays; don't bs your way through, just be yourself and tell YOUR story.
i applied to 6 schools: Texas AM (Accepted - awaiting financial aid), Mizzou (Accepted - full tuition scholarship and grad assistantship), Ole Miss (Accepted; not going here), Minnesota (Accepted - no grants; not going there), UCIrvine (Accepted; not going there), and Arizona (Accepted; no financial aid - not going there).
you guys, i just dont want any of you to get down because of a low gmat score -- getting into good schools is still a possibility!!!
