These are little rules I have comprised. Can people weigh in if they think they are all correct?
1 100 percent is 2x, 200 percent is 3x, 300 percent is 4x… 2 Anything under radical cannot be (-) 3 0 and 1 are perfect squares and perfect cubes 4 For a number to be terminating, the denominator of this number expressed as a fraction in lowest terms should have only 2 and 5 as prime factors 5 0! = 1 6 0^0 is a non-existant value 7 Multiply exponent if is to nth power 8 std. dev is always positive 9 factor of a number includes itself (ie. 6 is considered factor of 6) 10 subset of a set includes set 11 0 is even. 0 is not positive or negative. 12 1 is divisor 13 Range of any one element is 0
Also, Can we assume that if two variables (say x,y) are not said to be distinct then they could be equal?

Clarify this one as 100 percent increase, otherwise 100 percent of X, is 1x.

Depends on what type of radical. If you are finding an odd-root, like cube root, then it can be negative

Yes, I believe so. usually they will state "Where x does not equal y..."
