I would expect most people on the GMAT Club are! And if you are considering using a consultant to help you- you know to check the reviews on GMAT Club and other places-- and you know to ask friends and colleagues. But did you also think to ask if your consultant is a member of AIGAC? AIGAC- the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants-- is the best practices industry group-- and each year hosts a conference bringing admissions counselors and MBA Admissions directors at top MBA programs to learn from each other. I know that I can give my clients better insights about each program when I had time over the summer to engage with admissions directors and also visit MBA programs and learn first hand what is so special about each school. This helps me when discussing "fit" with my clients and helping them to discover for themselves what is the best program for them. So ask your admissions counselor if they are a member at AIGAC when you are talking to a potential counselor.
