* i have no answer to this question so let's discuss. this is from a collection of PP questions.

A is wrong because of "will it". 

B is wordy with that occurs. And "the impact it would have" is not clear.

C D: impact is unclear.

B. on whether  warming that occurs will be  significant and the impact it would have.  Wordy for me 
C. as to whether significant warming will occur or the  impact it would have if it did.   wordy awkward 
 D. over whether there will be significant warming  or  the impact it will have
 I think devided over .. x and y is correct usage rather than devided over x or y  
E. over whether  significant warming will occur and what impact it would have.

One more for E. I have never seen "will it" used in proper written English ....if anything it should be "it will".

The scientific community remains divided on two things. so you need 'and',  not  'or'. So no C. :no 

Between A and E,  E is better  because:
1. use of 'will it' is wrong in A. It should be 'it will'
2.  divided - over  is better than  divided - on
