Hi Bunnel i have doubt in this question since a:b:c are in ratio 2:3:5

How can A=C;
2x=5x?

Three integers A, B, and C are in the ratio 2 to 3 to 5, respectively. What is the sum of the three integers?

(1) A + B = C
(2) C - A = 24

(1) Tautological statement: 2x+3x=5x --> 5x=5x
or try different values:
A=2, B=3, C=5 --> A + B = C and A+B+C=10
A=4, B=6, C=10 --> A + B = C and A+B+C=20
INSUFFICIENT

(2) 5x-2x=24 --> x=8
A+B+C=2x+3x+5x=10x=10*8=80
SUFFICIENT
