The volume of a solid cube of lead is \(10^3\) or \(1000 cm^3\). Since there are 3 such
cubes, the total volume of lead that we get on melting the cubes are \(3*1000 = 3000 cm^3\)

The base of the rectangular shaped pan occupies \(20*30 = 600 cm^2\) of area.

Therefore, there is approximately \(\frac{3000}{600} = 5cm\)(Option C) deep melted lead in the pan.

total volume of cubes = 3*10^3=3000cm^3
since the volume of solid lead is same as the volume of molten lead
3000=20*30*h
h=5 cm
