going thgrough gmatprep I found out that
even answering all questions correctly in Q section - some questions required 5 min and some 20 sec
is this true for real gmat test? knowing this will help to decide whether it worth to spend 5+ minutes on some questions in hope to get 20 second question?
sory for bed english, thanx for help
The easy questions are usually the 20-second ones and the hard ones may or may not be worth spending 5 mins.
Part of the difficulty of the GMAT is the time limit and time pressure. Some questions indeed require only 30 or 40 secs and others 3 mins. However, you should not spend more than 3 mins really on any given question. Chances are that if you can't get to it in 3, it is not worth spending the time since the next question will either require more time/effort or you will get it wrong anyway, and will simply waste precious time.
Timing is a big part of the test and knowing where you should be at questions 10, 20, 30 are a good 3 numbers to keep in your mind so you can have a good sense of your pace (e.g. 60 mins left at Q 10, 32 mins left at Q20, 14 mins left at Q30 or something like that)
