BB, thanks for the reply. I hate to push back my test, but I think you may be right.

Any advice on how to practice and improve my speed? Despite all these CAT's and hundreds of practice questions, my pace has always been a weakness and has been an even bigger struggle as of late.

I appreciate the help!

@linc20

Do you have a certain guideline how you approach certain question types?

I mean a game plan for each question?

A crucial point is to approach each question in the same way. We teach students in our packages how to answer the questions and in which order to do what. This helps a lot because you spend the time for answering in the most efficient way.

I urge you to develop such a guideline for each question type. This will eliminate timing issues after you get used to it and answer all questions in a structured way.

As we offer a score improvement guarantee you can also simply get one package from us and learn it without any financial risks. It is up to you.

I finally took the GMAT yesterday, and raised my original score by 80 points to a 740!

Thanks to all for the replies. BB, a big thanks for advising me to push back my test date.

My advice to anyone else is to take regular CATs and pay attention to what your scores are telling you. I was scoring really poorly 6 weeks ago, so I pushed my test date back, which allowed me to focus on improving my timing strategy and review areas that I was making mistakes. Here are my scores since I decided to reschedule and regroup.

Solid score! Great work with keeping your prep flexible and constantly tracking your needs. Taking lots of full CATs clearly helped you perform come test day.
