The timer for quetions in question bank/ sectional test gives complete running time and not time for individual question.. Timer per question will enable us to move on to next question in case we are not able to find solution to the question

This is the hard part of the gmat that you should learn - how to manage the time. Also, some questions require more time than others and you have to balance surplus of time with deficit.
