Hi Lucky009,
While CR represents a sizable number of questions in the Verbal section, there are usually fewer CR prompts on Test Day than there are SC or RC prompts. As such, I'm curious about how you're performing in the OVERALL Verbal section. It might be that your troubles with CR are linked to other areas.
1) How have you scored on your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
2) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
3) IR actually has a lot in common with CR. How do you score in the IR section?
4) How is your pacing in the Overall Verbal section? Do you have to rush through a bunch of questions (and quickly guess) just to finish?
5) How much time do you spend on an average CR prompt?
While CR might seem tough, it's a question type that's based on a consistent series of logic 'patterns' (there are even patterns to the wrong answers), so you CAN train to score at a higher level.
