I feel that it takes me to solve couple of questions before i get in the zone on efficiently solving the questions. because of this ive been struggling a bit on timing. If i went with the normal pace of 2 min/ qs it hurts my accuracy, as i never feel confident in my choices. but if i invest a little more time (20-30 sec) i mange to get it right but that leaves me rushing at the end. I feel the same way in both quant and verbal. But for the past few test ive been giving practice test with verbal first then quant, because if i give quant first, i mess up quant because im just not focus right away, and later in verbal i feel tired. So now i give verbal first. now still not focus in verbal much but, the verbal act as warm up and help a lot in quant i feel. rarely do i struggle for time in it. So are there any tips on starting verbal and answering the questions from the get go.
PS. i dont particularly have any major weakness. only SC was troubling but ive managed to improve in it. its not as prefect as my CR, but still manageable enough.

It's not uncommon for test-takers to require a warm-up period to get into the groove of efficiently solving questions.
One strategy that I recommend to students that could help is to warm up your mind an hour before the test. You can do this by reviewing one question from each question type an hour before the test - do so on answered questions though! You don't want to exhaust your self before you start the exam. Think of this as perfecting your form on an empty barbell before you add weights. This can help you start the actual test with a sharper mindset.
I see you've been giving verbal a go before quant. If this approach has been working well for you, then stick with it. It's all about finding what routine helps you perform at your best.
