Hi Rich,
Thank you for getting back. To answer your questions:
1) In your post, you referred to 2 Tests - were those Official GMAT Exams or practice CATs/mocks? -
The tests I spoke about are the actual GMAT Exams and to provide context, attached is my mock test performance, majority of them simulated with timed break, closer to actual test timings, etc2) How many hours do you typically study each week? -
I am not fully employed at the moment therefore my days are essentially dedicated to the preparation, to put a number though - close to 6 hrs/day. Studying for the GMAT exam was a lifestyle shift for me. 3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used? -
I took classes from one of the local institutions to cover my basics, after which I used TTP's study material. Additionally, I have almost fully explored GMAT's official guide '22.
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)? -
Details in the attachment.
5) What is your overall goal score? -
I was hoping to score anywhere between 680-700 to be able to comfortably apply to Tier 2 MBA Programs, considering Top B-Schools may not be very keen to entertain career gaps.
At this stage though, I am not sure if I will be able to improve my test score within next one month/application period. My mock performance is slightly (read 100 points
) off and I am looking for any suggestions you may have for me, if you, as an expert, are able to asses any gap in my prep, my understanding or my knowledge, to which I am oblivious to.
Regarding, the link to the admission consultants forum. Thank you for directing me to them. I am trying to simultaneously explore admissions at my current score.
Thank you.
