What have you been studying for 8 months? Have you been going over and over the same stuff? there is not that much material out there....

just an idea - time pressure during the test? It might have an effect on your performance.

Eight months of preparation and still minimal progress? Something is off here. There's also a strong chance that you're suffering from GMAT fatigue. It's time to take a break.

What books have you used?

While i am noone to give someone else advice,I think you should continue to believe in yourself.You are going strictly by the book i Think.I suppose you should go thru the specific books (MGMAT for SC,PowerPrep for CR ) and follow them strictly point by point.
Study in small compartments of tme and gauge ur improvement every hour in small batches of time.
I can see u r not very regular at gmatclub.Stay on the Forum and try to be active.
