Hi,
Actually i didn't expect an admit so late in the application cycle.Recently i took the Kaplan free online test(only verbal section), got 11/13 in SC, 6/14 in CR and 5/8 in RC. I do feel i can get to 700.
I have been working in IT industry and have worked on SAP platform.Along with technical responsibilities,i have team handling experience as well, also i have worked with clients across the globe.
I have given software solutions to many utilities companies and would love to pursue energy consulting in the future.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shreeraj
Hello,
I would suggest you to retake and apply to wider range of schools this season. Olin is a good school, but you are gonna carry this MBA degree for rest of your life, so why not take more chances for top 20 schools ?
You are an indian IT male (probably the most competitive pool), but good part is that you have team handling experience that can help you set yourself apart from other peers with same background.
In GMAT, do not calculate your performance on the basis of right/wrongs, since its is an adaptive test , equal % of right/wrong can fetch different scores. At best, when you are through with entire OG, check out % to assess your proficiency in the area, here also check your performance in three different blocks because the questions at OG are at varying degree of difficulty, so judging your proficiency will help you identify your weak areas (at basics or at advanced)
Once you are through with your practice, take mocks and ensure you have consistency in your scores for four to five mocks.
Hope this helps
