To understand the most important characteristics of a society, one must study its major cities.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
Many people think that study on major cities are not important to characterise a socity of a country.The argument is polemic but a closer inspection reveals that study on major cities is important to get a decent grip on a socity’s characteristics.
One reason is mixed culture-there are people from every presinct in a major city;the main reason is job.So a good number of people are in mejor cities from everywhere of a country to work,consisting a strong mixed culture in a city.To delve through a country’s main functions, it is important to discover a city’s social activites.For example,if you survey in NY city you will find hundreds of cultural aspects, which is not possible to picturize from a fur-flung place of America.
Another reason is economy;certainly In a mejor city, the economy is much stronger so thus the social values.The social activities are different in a mejor city than a rural place.For instance,in London, there are strong economy so thus the people celebrate their fastivals in many different ways,spending thousands of pounds.
Parhaps the main reason is that the technogy and lifestyle which are really upgraded in a mejor city.Still,it is not possible to get a faster internet connetion in a rural area.This indicates a superfical and slow social activities over there.As an example,in Bangladesh,there is still no internet connection in many villages.
In a nutshell,to characterise a socity, it is imperative to discover a country’s mejor cities.May be few people argue that mejor cities are not that important to understand a socity’s functions but after the above analysis, it can be clearly viewed that how important are mejor cities to make a strong social impact on a country.
