^ most of the top colleges require a GMAT score whereas there are a few which would also accept GRE but GMAT is better as it would unlock a pool of great colleges for you. I have a low feeling that only a high TOEFEL score would get you into a good college because for most of them TOEFEL and GMAT are a prerequisite.

hope this helps

The "feeling" that TOEFL is not enough to get in a BS is not properly correct I would say.

TOEFL and GMAT/GRE are mandatory for your application. Plus SOP/Essay, LOR and so on.

Hope this helps.

Appreciate your response.!

Totally agreed.I would be appearing for gmat very soon but not uncertain regarding the toefl exam,in the context that if I should be giving my TOEFL as well...I assume I should have both handy before applying to University as stated, some University may demand both..

Can anyone suggest me ,if it wise and fair decision to write toefl exam to get admissions for pursuing MBA in top.B schools?

Hi, what do you mean for "wise and fair " ??

regards
I mean having just toefl score will it help me get into good B schools for pursuing MBA?

Like mentioned above, only having a TOEFL score will not make you eligible for a B-school. GMAT, LOR, essays, resume etc. are necessary too. Also each schools have their own set of requirements. Eg. Harvard encourages its applicants to have TOEFL score of 109 and above. So in a cases like this, having a TOEFL score of 86 will not help you get in a B-school like Harvard. TOEFL is just one of the boxes you have to tick in order to purse an MBA. There are MANY other boxes one has to tick to be eligible to apply.
