I would like to know if there is a difference, in terms of diffculty, between the TOEFL OG exercises and the real test.
In fact, I read several posts and I still do not know whether the difficulty level is the same or not. I remember that some people said they were surprised by the level of the real test which was more difficult.
I can't help you in this one as I didn't use the TOEFL OG during my preparation. My guess is that the difficulty should be similar compared with the real exam, but let's see if someone else can help.
In my experience, I took the exam two times and I found harder the text and conversations in the first exam. It also can depend on the topic they speak about.
BTW, rafi in hers debrief said that she was surprised about the difficulty of the Reading texts.

Regarding the reading comprehensions themselves I was quite surprised to find out that they are a lot more difficult than the ones in the free sampler I got.
