Hello,
I am slowly (dragging my feet really) preparing to take the TOEFL and was wondering if there is a separate grammar section on the exam? I found some sample Q's online and most of them were grammar related (e.g. pick an incorrect word/phrase in a given sentance, fill in the blanks etc). Were these for practice only or is there a section on the exam dedicated to grammar as well?

There is no grammar section in the TOEFL. You can find info about the structure of the exam in the following post: everything-you-need-to-prepare-for-the-toefl-100641.html

it seems to me as you extracted the questions from the reading section where you sometimes have to fill in blanks/select the correct answer ect. . However, they deal only with content and you do not need to worry about grammar ...
