I am an international applicant with a Master's degree in the U.S.. All of 9 schools I am applying to do not require me to take TOEFL. One of them, however, updated its website lately and seemed to change the policy. Before the update, its website states:
1. The TOEFL requirement is waived for applicants currently enrolled in full-time studies in the U.S. and who will have completed two academic years of course work in the U.S. immediately prior to enrolling.
2. The TOEFL requirement is waived for non-native English-speaking applicants who have received an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution where English is the language of instruction.
After the update, the website removed #2. Does it mean I should take TOEFL and submit by the deadline? The school's deadline is 1/15, and I will not be able to make it. So, what should I do? Can I talk to the Graduate Admissions to see whether the school can allow me to submit the TOEFL later? Maybe after the deadline or the admission decision? Any suggestions?
