Given: Tom speaks the truth in 75% cases whereas Jerry lies in 20% cases.

Asked: Find the difference between X and Y in percent points.
X = 75%×20% + 25%×80% = 15% + 20% = 35%
Y = 75%×80% + 25%×20% = 60% + 5% = 65%

The answer stated here is A, but what is the logic of considering 25%*20% as wouldn't be likely that when both are lying it would not be same hence should be considered as part of X rather than taking that in Y changing the answer to 25%??
