I am an engineer by profession, have completed 16 years of work. Want to take a study break and write GMAT to do MBA from some good school. But the thought is the only thing noble at this point of time. I feel intimidated by the volume of prep required.
I need help in terms of
a) Is it a wise idea to pursue at this point in life ?
b) If yes, how do I approach.
c) If I decide to go for it, I would like to aim at 700-720. Is that too ambitious ?

1) its never too old to study and further educate your self and get another degree.
2) Kaplan,Princeton, these forums, Official Guide from ETS, hard work, sincerety, determination, and persistence
3) if you see from the forums out here, any one can make a 7xx... I dont think any score is too ambitious.

For those of you who think that you are too old to go back to school, consider this: My own mother enrolled in nursing school at 41, graduated from college at 46, finished medical school at 52, and opened her own clinic at 55- after having raised three children. Her late achievement has given me great inspiration and a burning passion to succeed. The bottom line: age is irrelevant, it`s what you do to improve yourself that matter`s most.
