Hi. Sorry about the situation, but luckily it’s not the end of the world. None of the applicants are perfect and all of them will have some imperfections. I think you have a choice to make you can withdraw from the class and write an optional, essay, explaining why you had to withdraw just like you did it right here And portrayed from a more mature perspective. Another option is to go over there to get your C and explain that as well, but I almost feel like withdrawing would be easier and simpler since you can have more potential explanations such as scheduling challenges, professor issues, disagreement to learning approach, and so on… sometimes you just have to bail and abandon your course to restart. Everyone has done it in their lives if the rest of your grades are solid, one withdrawal is not going to put a big ax on your whole transcript…
