This may have been asked somewhere else before, but I haven't seen a recent update. I'm in the Houston area working full time and am considering an MBA. My company won't pay for a PMBA or EMBA since the cost of those includes books/travel/meals and other non-tuition items so that means most of the highly ranked part time programs in the area are out (i.e. Rice, UT, A&M). I think the best program in the Houston area that has a part time MBA that isn't a PMBA or EMBA is University of Houston. I'm curious what people think about the Indiana (Kelly) online MBA (or similarly ranked online program) vs. Houston part time MBA. I'm currently employed as an engineer and am mostly interested in learning more about the business side of things just to add to my knowledge and resume and possibly so I'd be capable of starting and running a small firm one day. I would assume there is a huge difference in the networking that goes on during an online program as compared to an in class program, but I'm curious if someone that's recently completed an online MBA would say the same thing. Any information people have about top online programs vs the UH part time would be really helpful. Thanks.
