I have an admission acceptance from Berkeley Haas and they have only given me one week to accept or reject their admission offer. I wanted to know what is the normal time limit they give to the students for accepting their MBA offer. I was previously waitlisted.

Yes, 7 to 10 days time for acceptance is typical at Haas and UCLA.

Thank you so much for your response, It is really hard for me to make decision between Haas and Columbia Business School. They are both great schools. I want to go to CBS but they have offered me the January 2022 or August 2022 intake but I requested if I could wait for to see if a seat opens up for the August 2021 intake! A tough call between Haas and CBS. Any advise and help would be appreciated.

Yep! Both B-Schools are great. But you can decide on other factors such as networking, career outcomes, or location. As I know, Columbia is really good if you’re majoring in Finance and UCB may be good at other aspects. You can decide on what you really want.

Both schools are great. It depends on your goals, such as industry, function, preferred location of work after graduation and networking (bigger class size may not be better. You may make deeper connections with a smaller cohort. search for the employment report both schools. 
Haas is stronger for Tech, entrepreneurship/startup, and sustainability/ESG. 
I suggest you to talk to current students and recent graduates from both schools. Good luck.
