Hello All,
During the next 17 weeks, I will prepare for the GMAT and thought I would write about my experience as the weeks go by. I hope this can help those preparing to stay motivated or get future test takers inspired. Also note I'm looking for a TTP buddy that has recently started, HMU if you'd be interested.
BACKGROUND
I started my prep back in April 2021 but sadly couldn't continue because of COVID-19. It's a shame because it had truly started well but thanks to Scott and Jeff I am now back on track. I'd like to thank them both again for the opportunity and support they have given me so far.
My initial practice exam didn't go well at all, I scored 400. However, that was with very little knowledge of the exam, I'm pretty sure I would score higher if I took another one today.
ORGANISATION
Study times
I plan on studying between 12-15 hours a week. My timetable changes every week but ideally I'd like to study at least 2 hours each day, preferably mornings while I'm feeling fresh.
Study plan and resources
I've tried jumping between different GMAT materials which turned out to be messy and inconsistent. TTP now has 'Video Tips'. I've watched them all and Scott recommended to simply follow the TTP study plan before engaging with other resources. I'll try that in the first 4 weeks and see how it works out.
Study buddy
I am looking for a TTP beginner to buddy up with me. I think it could be helpful to have someone to progress through the course with and have frequent calls (1/week) to go over what we're struggling with. If you're interested and reliable, please reach out! PS: I'm based in the UK (BST).
GOAL
"Self-rejection is a form of self-sabotage. It typically occurs after we convince ourselves we aren't “good enough.” My current score is telling me I'm not good enough but with an open-minded approach and some discipline, I'm sure I can get better. I won't settle for less than 700+. MARK MY WORDS!
UP NEXT
In the next 2 weeks, I will be focusing on building basic knowledge and a solid routine. For those that have access to the study plan, I'm aiming to finish the Essential GMAT Quant Skills chapter and reaching the target accuracy level for all 9 tests.

Good idea to start a log. It will be helpful for you, even if nobody else but I have a feeling it will be good for others too 
When you are saying bi-weekly. Is that 2x a week? I am always a mess when it comes to bi...
I would also suggest saving (not many just 1-3) mistakes, rules, topics that tripped you up from your daily work practice and either saving them or posting them here in your study log.
