The table summarizes the results of a university's recent study on different methods used to teach first-year college students across four academic subjects. Each student was taught using exactly one of four instructional methods. For each subject, the effectiveness of a given method is measured by the average final exam score of students taught using that method. A method is considered optimal for a subject if it yields the highest average final exam score among the four methods for that subject.
Average Final Exam Score by Teaching Method:
Each of the following options is a description of exactly one of the four instructional methods.
For each option, select Describes Group Discussion if the given information indicates that the description is true of the Group Discussion method. Otherwise, select Does not describe Group Discussion.
