The bar graph shows the probabilities, in decreasing order, of the 4 possible results of a test for a human gene variant in a given population. It is known that 25% of the population actually has the variant. The test can produce a positive result in someone who does have the variant (a true positive) or in someone who does not have the variant (a false positive); analogously, the test can produce a negative result in someone who does have the variant (a false negative) or in someone who does not have the variant (a true negative). The highest bar shows the probability of a true negative result; the probability of a true positive result is 4 times the probability of a false negative result. On the basis of the information provided, select from each of the drop-down menus the option that creates the most accurate statement.
