This isn't new news to anyone, but I just contacted ucla and they told me adcoms are gone to the draft and won't be back until Thursday. Sound like they will let students know status via Consortiums offical mailing. Though when they called me to congratulate, the adcom said welcome to Anderson and welcome to their next incoming class of Consortium students. Hopefully there is great truth in that, and they already have it in their heads to hook a brotha up.
Suchdaddy,
You are considered a Consortium student regardless of who gives you the fellowship. Once at least one of the schools admit you, you become part of the Consortium and can attend the conference.
Not necessarily. You can apply through the Consortium, be accepted into the school, and not be offered membership in the Consortium. The fellowship is then predicated on the school admitting you, the Consortium offering you membership, then the school finally offering the fellowship.
Congrats to all the Park fellows! That's one heck of an opportunity.
