This isn't new news to anyone, but I just contacted ucla and they told me adcoms are gone to the draft and won't be back until Thursday. Sound like they will let students know status via Consortiums offical mailing. Though when they called me to congratulate, the adcom said welcome to Anderson and welcome to their next incoming class of Consortium students. Hopefully there is great truth in that, and they already have it in their heads to hook a brotha up.

Congratulations man! Enjoy LA

Hey everyone, I got the Park fellowship too and am super excited!! I'm having some trouble with the online form though. Did everyone have to complete the enrollment form in order to pay their deposit, or is there some way to pay the deposit without completing the enrollment form first? Just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks, guys!

Suchdaddy,

You are considered a Consortium student regardless of who gives you the fellowship. Once at least one of the schools admit you, you become part of the Consortium and can attend the conference.

Not necessarily. You can apply through the Consortium, be accepted into the school, and not be offered membership in the Consortium. The fellowship is then predicated on the school admitting you, the Consortium offering you membership, then the school finally offering the fellowship.

Congrats to all the Park fellows! That's one heck of an opportunity.

Yea, unfortunately dominicana that's true. Luckily it's not too often, but mere acceptance by your school choice does not garantee entry into the consortium. Though in years past they have not policed the process as heavily as I heard they are this year. In years past if a school said they wanted you and they chose you for the fellowship, consortium was more prone to just say "ok". Now they claim to be making sure that you fit all criteria (i.e. mission). I'm confident that I will be accepted into the consortium, I just hope my top choice offers me top $$. They could let me in and past the opportunity for fellowship $$ to be given out by the next school.

I agree and believe many of us are in the same boat. As someone so eloquently put it, it's like waiting to see if the one we love, loves us back.

Best of luck to you!

Congratulations!! I'm having the same problem.. did you figure it out? I called the office and left them a voicemail to let them know that I am DEFINITELY putting down a deposit, just having issues with the site (I think it's a problem with the "Apply Yourself" site portal).

Anyone else having an issue? T minus 1 hour, 45 minutes..

I'm about 90% in the direction of Kellogg. Just want to have all the options on the table before absolutely committing.
