Are you an R1 applicant? I am R2 and I think Yale consolidated apps for both rounds. When did you receive your confirmation email that they received everything?

TheSenator this goes out to you too! Congrats to the both of you! More than 50% of applicants Yale interview gets an admit! All the best!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I was up burning the midnight oil, submitting my HBS application. Now that all the applications are out the way, I can have a little fun on these forums.

I'm applying to Haas, Anderson and Marshall through the Consortium in Round 2, ranked in that order.

And although my handle is a football reference, don't be fooled- I'm a woman. Go Patriots!

I'm just curious what applicants impressions of the schools they visited were? And what did you all do on your visits?

BTW, Alabama is going to win this game. :-D

I visited Stern and Johnson during both schools' diversity weekends. I liked Stern's students, but overall didn't feel a connection with the school. Johnson fed me well. When they say that they'll serve breakfast, they serve breakfast! None of that fruit and bagels B.S. There was french toast, eggs, turkey bacon, potatoes, etc. Yummy!

I applied to Ross and UNC. Visited both, and absolutely loved them both. Ross a bit more though. I was there for their diversity weekend and had a blast. Met some really cool people and went to a football game! That experience in itself makes Ross a school worth going to - and I neither like football nor really understand it.

Seriously ladies? The Pats? I'm deeply disappointed. But hey, 18-1 is definitely something to hang your hat on. Be proud of that accomplishment.....

Booooo!, TB12 is the truth.
All I have to say to that is November 6, 2011. Why don't you look up what happened to TB12 on that day. Let me help you out just in case:

2 interceptions
Fumble for a loss
Sacked twice

LOSS to NY Giants....AGAIN

Okayyyy, I know we aren't about to get into this. Perfect time for y'all to get lucky in the 07' season. Y'all had a decent win this year. Good thing we have the worst defense in the NFL.

Pats 13-3 #1 seed in AFC
GMEN 9-7 #4 seed in NFC
Tom Brady = 4 SB appearances , 3 rings, multiple MVP's (only all time unanimous MVP winner)
Eli Manning = 1 ring, ZERO MVP's and Peyton's lesser than brother.

Congrats TheSenator!! You're in an awesome position with a handful of interviews and admits!

Did you apply round 1? I applied round 2 and thought Yale consolidated both Consortium rounds.... but I also read they push out interview invites in waves --- **fingers crossed**

Army, I applied in Round One, but Yale consolidates application rounds for CGSM so I was waiting a while. They may have just been waiting until Round Two cleared for the invite, so who knows where they are in terms of reviewing information.

I suspect there are plenty more invites to go around as we've only had 3 chime in so far (1 of which was Round Two). Looking at the website, also seems like they have a ton of open interview slots.

Good luck to everyone!
