I don't think other schools even send confirmation emails that they received your application. I don't expect to hear from every one of them.I guess it pays to submit before the last day,...i submitted 1/5 got confirmation 1/10.

I submitted my application on New Year's Eve, but I know my last recommender submitted her letter on 1/4. I received an email from the Consortium on New Year's Day confirming the submission of my application.
On Monday 1/9, as I was working on my HBS app, I saw a typo on my Consortium application. So on 1/10, I called the Consortium to ask to make the change to my application, because I assumed that my application hadn't been forwarded to the schools yet since I didn't get an email telling me so. I was right, and she was able to pull up my application and make the change.
Haven't heard from Consortium since, but I'm not worried.
