I think I'm going to wait till after the holiday break, or atleast until the round 1 decision date is over.

If you get into another school that is below kellogg on your list, will you commit? I don't think I'll be able to wait around for kellogg. I think the chances are slim to get off this list. Anyone have any insight?

I am planning on calling next week. but not sure if I should wait till after the holidays. I believe R1 waitlisters find out by Feb- Mar. Does Kellogg accept another recommendation or updates ?

The waitlist faq says to wait until the week of 1/3 before contacting them. I think it would be smart to wait since it is explicitly stated.

Quote:
We request that you wait until the week of January 3 to contact our office regarding your candidacy.

Just tried checking my status and got this weird test window where I can play with the setting and see what messages the system tells users. VERY weird.... hope it's just a glitch in the system.... but just in case I found a magical noob hack I set it to "Admit" ;)

On the plus site, the temporary glitch is now fixed. On the downside I still have no decision...the wait is starting to kill me.

Bummer.... it will be a long haul for the WL folks. Sorry to hear that. It is a tough spot. Fingers crossed for Darden.
However, it is much better than a DING. Means you are qualified but perhaps share the profile with a few too many candidates.

I think more schools should provide options for applicants to self-admit themselves
In the latest move to save costs Kellogg seems to have made the right decision. :)

seems like a lot of people are on the waitlist. Does anyone know what percent of R1 applicants statistically are put onto the WL and what percentage of those waitlisted get accepted?
