As expected...
Waitlisted AGAIN! :)

Don't know what's with me & waitlists..Booth wailist yesterday, Kellogg waitlist today..Can't seem to make up my mind whether to go bang my head somewhere or just laugh at the whole thing!! :)

Bummer.... it will be a long haul for the WL folks. Sorry to hear that. It is a tough spot. Fingers crossed for Darden.
However, it is much better than a DING. Means you are qualified but perhaps share the profile with a few too many candidates.

Yeah, true...The three month wait at this point of time borders on being unbearable! Add to that the misery of submitting a video for Booth (WTF!??)!!

And you're certainly right about the last part regarding sharing the profile.. :)

I am impressed by the number of people waitlisted. I think B schools abuse too much of this practice, it should be reserved to a limited number of cases that are truly borderline between admit and ding. I really do not see the point of having hundreds of people on waitlist. B school already accept more student that they can take because they anticipate the aprox. number of people that will go somewhere else.
I also don't like this "please send us anything that can strengthen your profile" when you already worked so long and spend so much money in your GMAT, Essays, School visits etc.
It's just my opinion...

However, I recall reading on Kellogg's Waitlist FAQ, that decisions will be made around Jan 24-Feb 14 or something of that sort... correct me if I misread.

Booth on the other hand will not render a decision until March.

Hi Everyone,

American Male/26/4.5 WE with International Consulting

Got admitted to Kellogg, got admitted to ESADE. The romance of living in Barcelona and having better connections to Latin America is a big pull, however I can't help but notice most people think I would be insane not to choose Kellogg. I am wondering what the opinions of this board are. Comments? Suggestions? I am rather torn

Not rich with experience here, but you could attend Kellogg and study abroad in Barcelona at ESADE. Kellogg has quite a few partner schools in its exchange/study abroad program. Best of both worlds and not too shabby on the old resume to have both schools.
