Hi All,
I just came back from the center and scored a 720 (Q50, V36).
Thanks everybody for all the help in clearing doubts.
Happy with the score but I am in total confusion. I wanted 51 in quant but scored only 50 as I always scored 51 in all the prep tests but I saw some tricky questions. Finished it the last second (however i could manage within 65 mins in all prep tests)
I am an engineer from India with 4 years exp, so you can imagine the expectation from the maths.
Also the verbal score is below the expectation as I have been scoring in early 40's.
SHOULD I RETAKE THE TEST TO TAKE IT TO 740-750.
I plan to apply to the elite and ultra elite
I gave a lot of tests with scores as under (MG is Manhattan GMAT):-

Your quant is very consistent at 51-50.
Your verbal in your actual GMAT looks significantly lower than your prep CATs (although you do have a huge variation there). I would say retake it. Your verbal is unlikely to go lower while having a high chance of improving. You have very little downside and so much upside potential.
Why be satisfied with 720 when you'd very likely score above 750 if your verbal improved to a reasonable 40-42? Plus you unfortunately fall into the "lndian Quant guy" category. Q50-51 are a dime a dozen just because statistically, you guys do well in quant. However, having a high verbal score is so much rarer and would stand you out from your peers, especially if you're applying to the "uber elite"

Hi Dear,
First of all congrats for a great score !!
I need your advice . My quant is quite good as i am scoring around 48 - 50 in CATs .But verbal is very poor (CR and RC).Suggest me something to improve my CR and RC .
