Hi all,
I was looking for some information about Msc in Management programmes, but I have found only a few pieces of infos on the forum. If anybody else is also interested in Msc programmes, I would like to invite them to this topic to talk about them.
As for me, I'm 21, and I have just graduated from BA in International Business with a GPA of 5.0. I will take my GMAT and TOEFL exams in January and I'm fluent in English and can also speak German and Spanish. Regarding extrac. actitivites I had been the president of a student organization for a year, and now I have been working at Big4 company as a business consultant for half a year.
I would like to apply for the following universities:
1.) St. Gallen - Strategy in International Management - Actually it is my preference on the list, although I've heard that it is quite difficult the get admission to this programme. If you have any information about the MSc programme at St. Gallen besides the MBA programme, I would be grateful if you could share it!
2.) RSM - CEMS International Management - I find it quite attracting as well, because with this programme I can have a double degree and also spend a semester at universities like ESADE, LSE, NUS etc. On the other hand I don't know about the career prospectives with a diploma like this. I would like to get a job in the strategy consultancy industry.
3.) Wirtschaftuniversität Wien - It is my B-plan, there is an opportunity to go to CEMS programme from here too.
As you can see, LBS and HEC are not on my list. I was thinking about them a lot, but actually I find them too expensive for Master programmes. The programmes above (St. Gallen, RSM, WU) are almost free, and based on school reports, the avg. starting salaries are almost the same as on LBS or HEC too. On the other hand I would like to get an MBA after 4-5 years of work exp., and I think it will be enough to go to a top-tier university when I will do my MBA. What do you think about that?
I would be grateful if you could give me any feedback, support or advice about which Msc in Management programme I should choose or about any other tips!
And of course I'm looking forward to see the profiles of other applicants as well.

I was thinking about HEC Paris again... MSc in Management (Grand École) has a tuiton of 11.900 EUR / year, MSc in Strategic Management of 17.500 EUR and MSc in International Business of 22.500 EUR. Based on employement reports, the plus invesment in these programmes can return in 1-2 years.
Do you know what's the main difference between these programmes, and which one would you recommend?

Hi Pataiz! I was also a Master in Management applicant and have already finished my journey so I can share some insights with you. I applied for the September 2012 intake to ESADE, IE, HEC, ESCP, Audencia Nantes, Skema, and EM LYON. I was admitted to ESADE, IE, Audencia, and EM LYON but eventually decided to go to ESADE so I'll be heading to Barcelona in 2012 for the Master in Marketing Management course 
IE and ESADE were always my two top choices because I like Spain a lot, wanted to improve my Spanish, and I also thought that the programs of those two schools fit me best. Originally I wanted to take the Master in Marketing Management + CEMS at ESADE but since my courses in college were non-business courses, the adcom thought that I would have a harder time keeping up with other Cemsies who were mostly from business courses.
