How can I improve my Verbal score.
I am extremely deflated after the test. I scored 510 because verbal really hurt me.
I am taking the test after 31 days. How can I improve my verbal?
When I do OG questions, I get them correct 80% of the time. In GMATprep, I scored 25 (I know it's low but it is way better than 17). In MGMT CATs, I scored 32 and 37.
I have MGMT verbal books and CR bible (I did not use CR bible because I opted to simply use MGMT's).
I never expected to get that low in verbal, not in a million years

I think you shouldn't be so distraught yet. First of all, try to figure out what are the areas where you need to focus on in Verbal, e.g., are you confident of doing well in the RC section ? Then again, study with an aim of analyzing the logic of the explanations, especially in the Sentence Correction questions because the logic of the correct answer should be very clear. Browse through the GMATClub Verbal forum for explanations/discussions of the tricky questions by other members, and take a look at the Grammar Book, it's very exhaustive and could help.

The earliest date for a test is 30 days from now. Do you think that I have time to take it and apply for MBA programs for Fall 2012?
Will 30 days be enough to improve my score?
It is really depressing.
. If you feel 30 days isn't enough, why don't you postpone it by another 10 days or so (I think you have to spend only $50 for doing so) ? That will ease your mind because you'll not hear the knock of exams every day and will be able to prepare with a calm and stress-free mind. About Fall 2012, I think now you'll be able to apply only in R4 for most of the B-Schools.
