Hi! Just got my interview invitation on December 20th! Is there any forum that discusses what type of questions are asked in the interview? I scheduled mine with Ms. Clifford. Thanks!

No, not all interview invitations have been distributed. The University is closed from December 21-January 1 so I would not expect any activity during that time.

Thanks for the information! hopfully i will hear from mccombs soon
Another quick question:
I am located in upstate NY, about 3.5 hours away from new york city. I see some applicants were invited to the NYC interview as mccombs adcom tours to nyc in Jan. In term of the geographic location, if i had an invite, am i eligible for that NYC interview? or that is for people from nyc only?

Yes, if you were invited to interview and did not mind the travel to the city, you could certainly interview with an admissions committee member during that timeframe.

Do you guys bring business card to the interview and give it to your interview at the end?

I did have my resume with my business card attached to it for the interview, but when I asked the interviewer if he required the same he said that he already had my resume. No harm in taking your business card along. But I suggest that you present one to the interviewer only if asked.
I know of a Chinese citizen residing in USA, who has got the admit package last Friday. She is in Autin BTW, so no surprise that she got the package first. Hence, I assume that we will also get the packets soon. It does not contain much - Admit Letter and the Surprise Gift
I have got invite from McCombs for interview. And I am looking for practice. Please let me know if anybody want to prep for mock interview to familize with the actual interview (using skype). drop me a line or pm me if you are interested. I could not find any thread on this, please let me know if I should move this to a new thread. Thanks, Namrta

Hi ,
Please browse through the pages of this thread, you should find some relevant questions and people putting up their experience.
Quick question -- have any other Round 1 admits received an admit package or any other communications from the UT office since the initial decision notification?
I am wondering if you need to accept the offer before receiving the additional info -- was hoping to get everything first to make a more informed decision.

Hi mw3, I am based out of India and yet to receive my package. And by "additional info" you mean scholarship info, then if you haven't get the additional mail from the adcom, then most likely you haven't got any schol (as is the case with me ) Additionally you do not need the admit package to accept your offer as it will not contain anything substantial that could affect your end decision. So if you are sure, go ahead buddy and become a Longhorn
Just writing to say that I hope that UT interviews haven't all been sent out yet....hoping to hear in the next week or so (starting tomorrow)! I'm assuming that all the invites will be out by about Jan 15, to give people time to schedule travel to Austin if they to.
I'm still waiting on an interview invite too ... I'm getting nervous.
Does anyone know the best way to update the admissions committee on a GMAT retake? I want to update them on my better score post R2 deadline and I am not sure how. Is it just an email to the general admissions email address or something else?
